America's Kids Gymnastics

For about a year now, both girls have been enrolled in gymnastics at America's Kids in Motion.  We discovered it when Tess was a wee one; we took a "Mommy and Me" tumbling class there for a bit.  Since then, they've (at least) doubled in size and variety of class offerings.  Along with swim lessons (which both girls also took this Summer 2017), they now offer a variety of dance classes and even preschool.

Little Miss Kate is pictured on the "tumble track" below and also practicing her backward roll with her teacher, Miss Ashlynn.

Miss Tess also has Miss Ashlynn as her coach!  It's been so fun to watch Ashlynn get to know the girls individually and as sisters.

As I write this post, we're in the process of moving each of the girls up a level.  AKIM has been such a friendly, fun, and wholesome environment for our girls.  We even had Kate's 3rd birthday party there this year.  The teachers and staff are all fantastic.  AKIM also provides a "Kids Night" every Friday for 3 (or is it 4?) hours... for $25.00 they will feed your kid, play with them, and show them a kids movie so that you can get them out of your hair for a bit.  I am counting down until Kate is 4 years old and can participate!
