Visit From Sarah & Ole

In March my dear friend Sarah (Boldwyn, now Pedersen) came home to the Fresno area to visit with her new husband, Ole. Sarah and I went to high school together and have been good friends since then, although long-distance for much of the time! Several years ago she moved to the UK and eventually landed in Aberdeen, Scotland, for graduate studies. It was there that she met Ole Pedersen, a Dane, and fell in love! They've since moved down to the Newcastle area in England. She's not coming back to California, maybe not even the U.S., and I have slowly come to terms with it although I would love to see her MUCH more often. Anyway, it was wonderful to see her again (it had been a couple of years) and meet Ole, and spend some time with the Boldwyn family. Sarah maintains a fun blog about their life together which is what inspired me to start this one. We've always had LOTS in common and now we can add to the list that we're both married to identical twins!
