Tess Is 4 Months Old!

How many times have I said it now?  Time is just flying by.  Our little girl is already 4 months old!  Below are some pics from her 4-month "photo shoot."  As you can see, she's filled out quite a bit!  At her 4-month checkup, she was in the 70th percentile for weight (14lbs, 9oz), but only the 10th percentile for height and 20th percentile for head size.  She's still trying to roll over and thoroughly enjoys tummy time -- she'll play for as long as 30 minutes on her belly.  She also LOVES to make noise and practice "talking," which is super cute.  And she still gets tuckered out when Mom insists on taking tons of pictures.

Speaking of getting tired, we are SO blessed to have a baby that sleeps well!  Her schedule for the past month or so has been to nap from 8:30am-10:00am/10:30am, 12:30pm-2:00pm/2:30pm, and 3:30pm-5:00pm.  She goes to bed at 8:00pm and gets up around 7:00am.  You really can't beat that schedule, in terms of Mom having time to get other things done!

Our next milestone is solid foods.  We're waiting until closer to the 6-month mark, if possible.  Right now Tess seems pretty content with her 30-some ounces of formula every day.

Remember, you, too, are highly favored by God himself to receive such a special gift."  I couldn't agree more that my sweet girl is the most precious gift I could ever receive! 

PS...Lots of people have asked me where I am getting the shirts with the numbers on them (1 month, 2 months, etc.).  They're actually stickers that you just put onto the front of a white onesie!  I found them on Etsy.com ~ lots of people make them.  My friend Tiffany gave me the idea to take her picture next to the same stuffed animal every time, so that we can see how she grows in relation to it.  And the blanket I'm using for the backdrop was made for Tess by my dear friend Linda.  (It takes a village!)
