Keeping you updated with photos along the way....here I am at 23 and 26 weeks (below). The pregnancy has still been problem-free and it's been fun to watch everyone's excitement about "the belly."
Also, we have picked a name -- Tess Ashley Hayden. The name is somewhat inspired by Thomas Hardy's 1891 Victoran novel Tess of the D'Urbervilles (I read it in college and fell in love with Thomas Hardy); but mostly we just think it's a beautiful name for both a little girl and a grown woman. It's classic and rare without being weird, and no, it's not short for anything. The name means "harvester," which really speaks to my heart with all the wonderful changes that are taking place as a result of this little one. And, Ashley is Chad's middle name.
